Get to know the talented writer, journalist, and author behind Brotherly Love - a memoir Enjoy!

Dalton Giesick was born in Kansas and moved to Colorado in the 90’s. Previously, he wrote a poem entitled “My Best Friend,” which was published in the Teacher’s Selection Anthology of Poetry (2002 edition, volume XXIII).

Giesick has dedicated the poem to his brother, and it touched the hearts of the audience. The poem moved the audience to understand how Dalton and his brother had felt for each other.  It also took them to that one special person in their lives to whom they could relate. Brotherly Love conveys the closeness of his brother himself.

Giesick resides in Castle Rock, Colorado, and graduated from Douglas County High School. After losing his brother, he is now an only child. This led to getting his very own dog, Bubba. Giesick loves to watch all kinds of movies and enjoys listening to most kinds of music. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Journalism and Creative Writing while writing for the Arapahoe Pinnacle.
